I’d like first to read excerpts from a letter that I wrote to a friend who in this life is a black man.
Last night I saw the movie, The Hurricane, about Rubin Hurricane Carter. I could not help thinking of you during the movie and many tears ran down my cheek because of your own suffering due to your wrong choices. I do not think you will continually be a victim to those wrong choices. Sooner or later, I know you will make more right choices. In all of the choices that you have had to make in life, I applaud you for those you made which you felt were the right choices based on the oppression by the white man to the black race. I am sure you always did the best with what you had to deal with except those exceptions where you really blew it. Even then, I am sure you were up against the wall that the greedy, white corporate powers put up around you and your race, not only your race in America, but in other countries as well. When I cried at the movie, I cried not only for you and Carter, but for all the oppressed people in the world. I cried because I felt so helpless to help you and them. I cried because bad things happen to good people, and I know you are a good person. I know there is no iniquity in you, maybe some sin, but mostly error. Men like Nelson Mandela, Hurricane Carter, and others who have suffered because of their righteous convictions are few. Going through so much in the face of such injustices, they have been able to become men and women to look up to—men of God, men of love. I heard today that Denzel Washington received a Golden Globe award for best actor and that he brought the real Rubin Hurricane Carter onto the stage with him to accept it. Up on the stage Denzel Washington said something like, “God is love, and this man Carter is all about love.”I have faith in you—faith that you will see through the dark void and the web that Caligastia, through the greed of those in power, has placed upon you. I have faith that you will allow God to pull you out and free you. I know you are a good person. I can understand the black race so well, not because I have lived black lives, which I have, but because in this life, I have had to take the path opposite of the status quo to follow God’s calling. This has led my enemies to define me with all sorts of negative definitions to demonize me. So, I understand what it is like to be a good person in a black skin. You are in my prayers.
You are loved,
Gabriel
The definition of justice is:
The quality of being just. Fairness. The principle of moral, righteous equity. Conforming to moral rightness. An action or attitude. Righteousness. The upholding of what is just, especially fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor. Standards or law. In law, the administration and procedure of law. Conformity to truth, fact, or sound reason.
There was a scene in the movie The Hurricane where a black teenager is providentially led to Hurricane’s autobiography on sale at the ridiculously low price of twenty-five cents in a used-book bin. (I am certain that if many of you go to stores in other cities, you will find my autobiography, The Divine New Order, in their used-book bins. You might even find The Cosmic Family, Volume I on sale for twenty-five cents in some used-book stores around the country.) After reading Hurricane Carter’s book, the black teenager wanted justice for Rubin Carter.
It is too painful for most ordinary people to read about injustices against others, to see films about injustices against the poor and innocent—films like Amistad and Cry Freedom. Denzel Washington was also in Cry Freedom. Those films are not top money makers because the ordinary person doesn’t want to be confronted with having the responsibility to help change the world. They don’t want to be confronted with what they need to do, as ordinary citizens, to help change this world, so they would rather go see a movie that has no really high moral message and no spiritual messages whatsoever. Often, the movies that get the Academy Awards are in many ways very shallow movies. Most ordinary people don’t want to see the movies of great messages and moral intent because they don’t want to believe that they are part of the problem. They just can’t see that they need to do the right thing, make the right decision, when justice demands that they do so. God our Father and the Spirit of Truth are the internal voices of justice. So often, individuals deny that voice of justice for the other clamoring voice of selfishness. It is the voice of self-will. I have always taught that there are two voices within us, God’s will and your will. We get those two voices mixed up quite often. As a matter of fact, a System Sovereign, Lucifer, in control of 619 inhabited worlds, got that voice mixed up enough that he fell from grace and truth. Hundreds of millions of others followed him because they got that voice mixed up. It is easy to do, very easy to do. Many today think they are fighting for justice, their justice. They say they have become justice fighters and activists, but not for God, for themselves, although they may call it God’s will. That is the history of the rebellion. Many individuals allow injustices to happen around them all the time because they expect others to be the voices of true justice. “Let someone else do it. Let others take the chance. Let them be discredited. Let them ruin their reputations. Let them be the fool. I am fighting for justice in my own way.” That is the attitude of the majority of Americans and people in other countries in Western civilization and around the world. They are not willing to be the targets of the ungodly, and that is what destiny reservists basically are, the targets of the ungodly. That is what Martin Luther King, Jr. was, a target of the ungodly, but he stood up there very firmly for freedom and righteousness for the sake of the oppressed. He knew he was a target, but he did it anyway. Any great soul, any Mahatma who tries to fight injustices knows that he or she will become a target for the ungodly, for there would be no need to fight for true justice if there were not the ungodly who created the injustices to begin with.
There is the fear of retribution from iniquitous people and the fear of retribution from those in error and ignorance. Not only do true activists for justice have to fight the iniquitous who know that they are doing wrong and don’t care, and want to hurt those who speak out, or want to keep the oppressed oppressed and the poor poor, but the activists will be targets of the ignorant who want to hurt the activists thinking they are doing good for God, just like Saul did before he became Paul. He was killing Christians, thinking that was the right thing to do for God. Because many don’t want to be targets, they remain quiet when they see prejudice and hate toward others. They look the other way in the face of bigotry. What is a bigot? “One who is strongly partial to one’s own group’s opinions on religion, race, or politics, and is intolerant of those who differ from their own views.” They would rather be the “good old boy”—that American term. The good old boy. What is that? Is it good old boy or good old girl? The dictionary says “A man or woman who follows the stereotypical behavior of his peers, especially one who embodies the rivalry, camaraderie, or bigotry, regarded as typical of some white men of the rural southern United States.”
It is hard to understand why God allows this rebellion to go on. Why does God allow suffering? Why do the good seem to be overtaken at times by the most iniquitous? Why the holocaust? Why does God allow that to happen? King David, in the Book of Psalms, wrote in many verses, over and over again, “Why, God, does it seem that the evil prosper? Why does it seem that the righteous have to suffer so by the hands of those ungodly ones in positions of power?” Well, we need only to look at the cross of Christ to see that the will of the fallen mind, collectively or individually, can bring harm to or even murder the purest of souls.
In prison, Rubin Carter had to endure tremendous injustices. He had to do prison time and keep the faith, keep the hope in his own future that his circumstances would change. He was put into a cell for solitary confinement in a dark room in the basement of the prison for three months, with hardly any light, constant day-in, day-out darkness, with nothing in there but his self and his clothing. What kind of man or woman of God would you be if you were placed in that situation, and you were innocent? Would you turn against God because He allowed this to happen to you? Some of you complain about the situations that you are in now, but compared to a cell in a basement with nothing but blackness, you are living in Paradise. Rubin’s prayer was that he not become hateful, that he would not hate the whole white race because of what a few iniquitous souls of the white race did to him personally. He kept his love. He prayed for love. In his twenty-two years of incarceration, he did lose hope temporarily. Perhaps he lost hope for days at a time (like some of you have), or lost hope for weeks, and maybe for even months at a time, because as time went by, he was still being treated like an animal. This courageous, beautiful, valiant warrior of God suffered so. In his dark night of the soul, he had to tell his wife, who he loved from the first moment he saw her, to leave him and find her own life without him. He had to tell her to do that because he loved her enough to let her go. He loved her enough to want her to be happy. He loved her enough to want her to enjoy what it was to be a young, beautiful woman having children, having a family, and he knew that the injustices against him would not free him so easily and that his struggle would take much, much longer than he thought it would, and he did not want her to suffer one moment more with him. He set her free to find what happiness she could find. Wow! I wonder if I could do that placed into the same circumstance? Would I be able to do that? Maybe I would want to have just one other person feeling my misery, understanding my pain. Would I be man enough and godly enough to walk it alone? He remained a man with love in his heart. He tried not to become hateful or revengeful, even now losing the one thing in his life that he loved more than anything else, besides his God—his wife. There were celebrities and many others in the status quo who rallied behind Hurricane Carter. Bob Dylan wrote a song about Hurricane Carter. However, when you get in the race to fight injustice, you don’t know what is going to come against you. Many of them were not willing to take the giant steps on the justice bandwagon. They did, as long as it suited them, but when it got tough, when their own reputations were in jeopardy, they jumped off the band wagon for Hurricane Carter. That is what the fallen mind does. The Caligastia influence tries to discredit the godly because they are not the status quo. They’re the dirty people. They are not the respectable status quo. That’s how the Caligastia system makes one look when one begins to fight injustice and stand up for the oppressed. That is what we are up against. I am proud to be a “black” man. I am proud.
When the going gets rough, we really do have to choose between the third dimension’s careers and justice for all of the Hurricane Carter’s of the world. Unfortunately, some former Divine Administration members—apostates—are now united together in the cause of trying to discredit my name and topple our beautiful chosen reality. Apostasy. A noun. “Abandonment of one’s religious faith or political party, one’s principles or cause.” It’s nothing new. This has happened throughout the history of this planet. When apostates leave a group they were formerly with, if the reason for them leaving is not the highest reason of altruism before their God, or if they left because their pastors called them on their sin, they go down the street and join the church at the end of the street where there is a pastor who doesn’t quite say it as hard or as deep with the sword of truth that the pastor that they just left said. That has happened to many pastors throughout history, and that’s why we have so many Christian sects and denominations. In the circle of their unholy alliances, the vengeful and bitter apostates are one with each other even though, in their private lives they wouldn’t even shake each other’s hands. These apostates unite to overlook all differences in order to come against the former group that they were with, whose principles they once believed in, because they did not want to deal with the next sin that they had to overcome in their lives. Not all apostates are bitter or working against the group they were formerly with. And this is not just something that happens at Aquarian Concepts. There has been this same thing happening to families, tribes, groups, and churches throughout the history of this planet. It is nothing new. Let me ask you a question? Why can’t they just let live? What is the saying? “Live and let live.” Why can’t they just leave here and live their lives? OK, they don’t believe that we are who we claim to be; they don’t want to deal with their next sin; hey, that’s all right. God is very patient. Why do they have to leave here and become such an enemy of us. Why? Why can’t they just go on and live their lives that they have supposedly chosen to pursue? The answer is really simple. People who become embittered apostates of their former affiliations are not looking for justice any more. They are not the Rubin Carters of the world. They are looking for revenge. Revenge. Oh, it’s a mixed up kind of revenge, because they really have no reason to be vengeful, but they choose to see themselves as the innocent victims. Most of them were victims before they came here. They had the same consciousness before they came to Aquarian Concepts—they were victims. People who go through life as victims are always hateful against someone else; it was the other person who did it to them, “My parents did it to me.” “My high school teacher did it to me.” “The counselor did it to me.” “The football coach did it to me.” Someone other than them has done it to them, and they need to get even. In the minds of those who choose rebellion and self-will over God’s will in their lives, the old saying, “misery loves company,” is so true. Misery does love company.
Concerning the apostates who leave this particular Divine Administration, if Divine Administration and all it stands for is even remotely true, if there is just a very small chance that Gabriel of Urantia might be Van (see The URANTIA Book, Paper 67) who has had many repersonalizations on this planet, they are in trouble, and they know it, so they have to justify their choices. Some leave and feel they must be united with other voices that could not meet the criteria that Aquarian Concepts demands of them for their individual ascension and as souls called by God to be change agents for a Divine New Order. That is why these particular apostates do what they do. They need to hold the unholy alliances of others and their voices together because Gabriel just might have walked with Jesus in the first century. And yes, I cannot walk on the water. I cannot walk through walls. We are not magic workers. We are not here to be psychics in your life. You have your own relationship with God. We are not here to take the place of God in your life. We are not here to tell you every little detail about your future. We cannot interfere with the circumstances of reality and the “prime directive” on Urantia. All people need to manifest the destiny of Urantia as freewill beings, and I am no different. I think those out there in the world think, “Well, if he’s really had repersonalizations, he should be walking on the water, and walking through the walls, and being able to have satellites, just like certain television evangelists.” They go on and on about what they think I should have because of who I claim I am. Why should Christ Michael manifest these miracles in my life; He didn’t do it in His own life when He was here? He allowed Himself to be crucified by those who misunderstood who He was. He didn’t call down an army of angels. He didn’t manifest millions of dollars for His ministry. He said, “Go collect what you can from those who have it, and sometimes the apostles had to do a little fishing.” That’s what He did.
There is a term called the “false memory syndrome.” The embittered apostates seem to have this syndrome of immediate memory loss of the beautiful things that happened to them when they were here—the beauty of togetherness with family and with children, the magic of the union of souls in embracing epochal revelation. I am afraid of that kind of memory loss. It frightens me that some apostates could so easily forget and demonize me down to the level of being a fraud and a false leader of an alternative lifestyle which they attack as dangerous. All of this is nonsense. How can they so easily forget the tenderness of watching me hold my baby in my arms. How can they so easily forget? I am flabbergasted at that one because of what their hatred, what their memory loss, what their revenge, what their injustices can do to my family and to all Aquarian Concepts members and their families. Yet, I know that God will protect us. I believe that Divine Administration will not crumble, will not topple because of their hatred and false memories due to their allegiance of unholy voices against us, because they have to justify their own apostasy and rebellion.
I have to pray for love in my heart just like Rubin Carter did. I have no ax to grind. Hurricane Carter had no ax to grind. All he wanted was justice. That’s it, just justice. That is all I ask for, and I am fighting against the injustices of the world. Rubin Carter had no ax to grind because he was an honorable man. An honorable soul in the highest sense is one who is trying to be in God’s perfect will, choosing to be in God’s perfect will, despite the injustices done to him or her. Carter was able to manifest in his life, despite all the wrong done to him, friendly guards who looked after him, and four individuals outside of the prison who had no idea that he even existed until the young man got the book in his hands and read it. Then he had the other three friends read it, and these individuals of high character and quality became Hurricane Carter’s foot soldiers. They moved from Canada to live right across from the prison, waving to him from their window. Boy, would that give you hope if white folks did that, leaving the beautiful place they had in Canada, their careers and everything else to become Carter’s foot soldiers. You destiny reservists here in Divine Administration are the light foot soldiers, foot soldiers of the light, the spiritual warriors of the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star of the Creator Son of the universe of Nebadon.
Niánn and I, who represent the humans of the highest spiritual ascension level, and I say that in all humility, of the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star, know that when we are honored in any way by anyone, they are seeing a reflection of God in us. That’s the only reason why anyone should honor us. No other reason. If I had the biggest muscles in the world, or the greatest talent, that’s not the reason to honor Niánn or me. No, it is seeing the Christ in us, and if some can’t see that, then they are missing what they need to see. They haven’t learned yet what they need to see in others. If someone can’t look into our eyes and know that we have their best interest at heart; that that’s what we are about; that’s who we are; and that is what Aquarian Concepts is, then they need to attain higher discernment. That is why people honor us, because they are actually honoring Christ Michael, who we are representing in the office of the Mandate. People are honoring the office that God has placed us in, not even us—the office. That is what Paladin said. And so he implemented that to all of you, so that when we are outside in the world people would say, “Why are people honoring those two people?” Somehow, some way, maybe some day the message will get back to them that they are honoring the God in them. That’s what it is about, because our society has lost face, has lost honor, has lost what it is to respect eldership. All of our society is predicated upon selfishness, not honor, not respect for elders. What the celestial spirits are saying now is, “Let’s get it back and let’s start with Divine Administration.” In other countries, they honor each other, but it became rote, so Paladin said, “Look, in India, they honor each other, but it has become so rote now that it doesn’t mean anything. And so that is why we don’t want you to honor each other like that. We just want you to honor the Mandate until all of you then also deserve to be honored in such a way.” It makes sense to me, and I understand where he is coming from. Yet, it is hard for Niánn when we go out. Sometimes we say, “Gee, I hope we don’t run into anybody in the community.” And we feel awkward, yet that is what the celestial spirits want because of the one soul who might see it and be somehow affected eternally because of the honor that we are getting because of our walk with God. I will tell you something. If I saw Hurricane Carter, I would have to honor him the same way—special souls. I would do the same thing for Nelson Mandela. It is just something you have to do. You just have to do it. There’s no written rule; don’t give me a book that says you have to do this to this person. This has just got to come naturally because it’s there. When you meet these kind of special souls, this is something that you just have to do.
Rubin Carter said, “I’m not going to wear those clothes, those prison clothes. He was willing to go into the hole rather than wear those clothes. He said, “I want to wear something different because I am innocent and should not even be here.” The prison guard said to him after three months being in the hole, “Look, before you decide not to wear the prison clothes again, would you settle for prison pajamas,” because the prison guard knew that this man, this Hurricane Carter, who stood before him, was a Gunga Din. Did you ever see the movie, Gunga Din? The British captain knew that he met a better man than him in Gunga Din—the Indian native who stood up and blew the horn to protect the British that were coming into the trap set by hundreds of thousands of Indian soldiers. At the cost of his own life, he stood up and blew, “Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta. Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta.” And then he got shot and killed, but he saved hundreds, maybe thousands of lives. And one of the British officers before he died said, “Gunga Din, you are a better man than me,” because he knew he wouldn’t have done that. All of you are being called to be “Gunga Dins.” You are being called to get into the ranks of humility and to come into the front line of courage, as warriors for justice. You cannot lose sight of the great calling that is before you, for that is what this Divine Administration is about. What is this great calling that is before you? It is to be thy brother’s and sister’s keeper.
Yes, yes, yes, we have a wonderful, beautiful future. Don’t lose sight of that and enjoy those precious moments that God has given to us. We have each other. When we look at each other, we see God, and that is how it should be and we’ll keep on truckin’, and we’ll help to change this world. We are the strongest force on this planet to do so.
Thank you.
